Torbay League Competitions for 2022-23

The Torbay Chess League AGM was held on 19th October 2022, and the meeting was combined with the 2022 Autumn Council Meeting.
It was decided that there will be five competitions in the 2022-23 season.
- Division 1 (no rating limits) will be contested by Newton Abbot Abbots, Newton Abbot Bishops, South Hams and Totnes.
- Division 2 (U6800 total rating for a team of four) will be contested by Newton Abbot, South Hams, Torquay Boys' Grammar School and Teignmouth.
- Division 3 (U6400 total rating for a team of four) will be contested by Newton Abbot, Plymouth, South Hams and Torquay Boys' Grammar School.
- The White Knight Chemicals Knockout (U10000 total rating for a team of six) will be contested by Newton Abbot, South Hams, Teignmouth Torquay Boys' Grammar School, Teignmouth abnd Totnes.
- The Rapidplay (U7000 total rating for a team of four) will be contested by Newton Abbot, South Hams and Totnes.

Fixtures, results, league tables and player stats will be maintained throughout the season on the ECF League Management System.
